“Fall In Rocky Mountains” Fall is the time of year everybody waits for. Anticipating the explosion of color that is about to usher us into winter. The Rocky Mountains never fail to delight even the most discriminating of the color critics. This image is from a photo reference taken by a good friend of mine who has spent most of her life on the back of a horse outfitting in the Kananaskis Area of Southern Alberta. We spent a lot of time in those hills and now that I am in Dallas I live vicariously through her wonderful pictures of the old neighborhood. Thanks Jan.  I am not positive but my guess is this image was taken somewhere near the Sheep River west of Turner Valley, Alberta.
